Fischbeck Reunion 2009

In July our family got together for a Fischbeck Reunion up in the mountains. Part 1. We headed up to our cabin to enjoy various activites such as talent shows, rockets, races, relays, videos, crafts and loving being together outside in the cool weather. Part 2. We left to the enjoy camping at Big Lake. The grandkids love riding bikes, swinging, and wondering around looking for Cinnamon (the bear we saw that walk right through our campground). One of the main events was Mexican Horseshoes, Fischbeck style. Dan and Tara wiped the floor winning both mens and womens. Jaden took the title for the 11 and unders.We had a great time being together with loved ones.

Reece's Adoption

Reece officially became a Fischbeck two weeks ago when Daniel and Tara took Reece and baby Emma, before a judge for final step of her adoption. What a great day it was for the Brinkerhoffs and the Fischbecks.

Whale Watching in Baja

Last month we flew south of the border to a little town, Muleje, on the Baja with friends and and the Bush Pilots. It fulfilled Dave's dream to see the whales very "up close and personal.
